's manga called The Link. I've only caught glimpses of what what's hinted as to The Link herself.... but I saw the dress she wore and thought it would be fun to use and of course, Rei is always drawn in blue so I decided to challenge myself and see if I could pull off someone floating in water. Well, maybe I didn't succeede but I tried XD There's rose petals because, well.... I like drawing with red colors and it makes this more dramatic XD lol! Rei has on a black necklace in the origonal but I felt that a collar would fit her expression better since I'm thinking that there's no way The Link can exist without sacrificing herself perhaps? Or at least some kind of pain. And I wanted to show something a little more painful rather than my usual expressions :3

this is absolutely one of the greatest illustration for my characters... i really like the idea and the blue tone... it's perfect..! the flow of the picture is also excellent.. aahh.. im so happy seeing this.. u made my day... *was stressed with school project... but now relieved after seeing this*

Wow -school projects, do I know how THAT one goes! lol - I'm working on all my senior stuff right now so don't worry, I can totally empathize. Don't stress out too much though. There's a time to work but there's also a time for play that you have to schedule in ... otherwise you go nuts (pff - I would know, right?)

oh.. dont worry about the water.. i, myself, dont know how to draw water backgrounds properly.. background itself is a hustle.. how much more if its water in traditional colors.. thats tough..! i read ur description just now.. (forgive me.. my mind went blank after seeing the picture and immediately commented though i was really speechless and couldnt think fast of what to say..) XD
"there's no way The Link can exist without sacrificing herself".. true.. in page 13, the Link sacrificed her human form in order to seal the Mistress in the dark realm (p.14).. because of that, the Link lost it's human form and became... *spoiler* sssh.. wont spoil u.. but if u insist, i can tell u...

oooh - cliffy! If the Link sacrificed its human form, well, to me that means that it has another form that ISN'T human. So I was right! Both Rei and Rei are a little something more! I can't wait to see her other form and draw it! Yay! I'm super glad to be friends with you to since you're constantly inspiring me with your characters and unique style. Besides, you're such a lovely person to talk to. Next time I'm in Canada I'm taking you out to lunch xP
schedules work for me thanks to u... procrastination can be avoided with punishment for not following the schedule.. yeh.. i set up some punishment if i cant abide with the schedule.. lol... u should set up something like a punishment if u didnt follow ur schedule.. lol.. good luck for the both of us.. XD
as for the manga, im gonna leave u with ur imaginations.. i cant say any of them will be right coz i have my script ready "years" ago.. lol.. but ur imaginations help a lot.. just hearing people say something suggestive about my manga makes me so motivated and move forward.. i just hope i wont disappoint "you" with the results which are slightly different from what u might be imagining.. XD even so, pls look forward to it.. oh.. i know u are.. and so my sincere thanks forever... *^^*
